LETTER: We don’t all use smart phones
I HAVE just read the article ‘Electronic bus timetable signs are facing axe’ and feel compelled to respond to comments made by County Coun. Malcolm Barron regarding his encouragement for people to use new technology such as smart phones etc.
It’s about time some people realised not everybody uses new technology. In fact, many people such as the elderly rely on the electronic signs for the information they need. What a shame it is that their needs are not even taken into consideration when making such decisions.
