LETTER: Thanks for leukaemia cash
A HEARTFELT thanks to everyone who helped with or supported the recent collections for Leukaemia and Lymphona Research that raised a total of £546.75.
The first part of the collection, held in Burnley Market Square on September 22nd, made a splendid £316.87; the second part was at the Outpatients’ Department of Burnley General Hospital, where a much-appreciated £229.88 was collected.
The donations are a very generous contribution from kind-hearted people in Burnley and Pendle, especially in the present economic climate.
