LETTER: Patient praises Burnley General Hospital
AFTER all the negative television and press coverage about treatment of older patients by the NHS in hospitals, I would like to say I have recently been a patient in Burnley General Hospital.
My treatment was excellent from day one by the outpatients’ department, the consultant, operating staff and ward 14 staff. Every department was very clean, all staff pleasant, helpful and extremely skillful and efficient.
People of Burnley and district start to sing the praises of your local hospital as we only seem to hear the odd bad report instead of all the many good ones.
