LETTER: Motorists please take care when driving past a horse

I have had two friends knocked off their horses in Mitton Road, Whalley, and frankly I don’t want anymore.

Please have consideration when passing a horse, slow down, go wide.

The speed at which cars travel along Mitton Road, Whalley, is disgusting. Wagons, buses, vans, tractors all speeding. The volume of cars is obscene it is now more used than most main roads.

I think raised sleeping police men type speed bumps and a camera are needed.

Please think when passing a horse.
