On Monday, December 15th, I arrived at the day case surgery at 7-20am.

From the moment of arrival to going home at noon, the dedicated staff were fantastic.

Finally, it came to operation time. I could not have been in better hands. Mr Johnston’s team (facial surgeon) was top class, every one of them. Mr Johnston, a bit of a comedian, really put you at rest.

Once again, thank you everyone.

Though I am writing this about the dedicated staff, I do not want the politicians (Lab-Con) to think the running of this hospital is down to them, far from it. The success is down to dedication from the people I have mentioned. Every town in England should have its own hospital back and let these dedicated people run them.

Too much squabbling come election time: who’s done what for the NHS. No politician has done anything.

Let the dedicated people of the hospitals bring the standard of the mighty NHS back to what it once was.

P. Ingham
