LETTER: ‘La cage Aux Folles’ was brilliant

It was a most impeccable performance in every way. The cast was outstanding, the musical direction superb, direction and choreography by Anthony Williams was, as expected, very professional, making an evening to remember.

The Burnley Light Opera Society should be congratulated in this, a most wonderful undertaking, and Burnley should be proud of those who perpetuate opportunities in promoting the arts in our town to the availability and enjoyment of all, and long may they do so.

I also wish to add that the facilities of the Mechanics under the new manangement structure for supporting events, such as we have just had the pleasure to experience, is now second to none and worthy of an accolade itself.
