LETTER: Hospital care is first rate

IN recent months I have been back and forth to hospital, and I must say that my own GP and all the people who have treated me have given me the utmost care.

At Burnley General I have had heart, liver, kidney, lung and no end of blood tests, and all the time the consideration shown to me was top quality.

More recently an eye condition has meant having treatment at both Burnley and Blackburn. Several doctors have been involved. They carried out a series of tests before finally sending me for an MRI .

This was all because my local doctor started the ball rolling with gusto and determination, and has kept in constant touch on the progress of my treatment.
