LETTER: Dog wardens need to work flexi hours

COULD Coun. Julie Cooper please tell readers of the Burnley Express if Burnley Labour group has started cutbacks to its election promise.

Why else would the council take the borough’s dog warden off flexible hours and on to 9am to 5pm working?

Is there only a problem of dog fouling between these hours? I don’t think so.

The biggest problem is early morning. The dog warden needs to be flexible to do the job properly.

I thought Burnley Council had a zero tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour such as failing to clean up after a dog.
