LETTER: Buy us a scanner instead of handing cash to other countries
ATTENDING one of our Lancashire hospitals recently I saw on the notice board a request to the public for funds and donations to acquire a scanner at a cost of £500,000.
This scanner would benefit the lives of hundreds of thousands of people yet it could only be bought by donations from the public.
Meanwhile, Cameron, Clegg and their cronies in the Treasury are doling out hundreds of thousands of pounds to countries that do not need it or want it.
This is not only immoral but a scandal of the highest proportions. Prime Minister the shame is yours.
