LETTER: Anyone for tennis in Colne?
there are good, well-maintained tennis courts in Alkincoats Park, Colne, which are very much under used.
We must all agree about the merits of sports participation by our young people, but understand finance can be a limiting factor in sports facility provision. Our schools and the borough leisure team have indicated they would support an initiative by a volunteer group willing to encourage use of these facilities by the area’s young people.
