Illogical to refuse wind turbine plans
It may be necessary to destroy the peace of the narrow corridor between Colne and Higherford to alleviate traffic congestion but welcoming that while refusing planning permission for a few turbines on grounds of noise and effect on landscape seems illogical.
If global warming continues we could find our hillside pastures covered with plastic protecting fruit and vegetable crops as occurs in milder parts of England.
