How can we really ‘sell’ Pendle?

I’m leading a Council Scrutiny Panel which is looking at this topic. We have much to be proud of but we also have untapped potential. We want to improve how we “sell” Pendle to make it much more economically vibrant. Our focus is on:

Business development – how we attract new businesses/retain current ones;

Exploiting our tourism potential – how we build on our tourism opportunities;

Keeping it in Pendle – how we promote within Pendle, our towns and villages and what they have to offer, encouraging local loyalty.

We’ve started to develop some new ideas and parish and town councils have shared their views with us. Now we want to hear from local residents.
