Derelict mill site could become nature reserve?
Re the former Perseverance Mill in Padiham. On a practically nightly basis, the tom cat brings a moth into the house and eats it. I can only assume the source is what has been described as the worst eyesore in the borough.
The site has been in this state for so long it is steadily greening over. Returning to the moths, they are very pretty with pink markings on the body and wings and quite chunky. I only hope they are not endangered though they could be if Muppet keeps up his hunting.
Anyway I had a good idea, turn this site into a nature reserve, it’s halfway there as it is.
