Church-goers and crime: shocking report (not)

I do hope Manchester University criminologist Mark Littler didn’t spend too much time and money researching the relationship between regular church attendance and the likelihood of committing crime.

Guess what - it showed the likelihood was low. It would have been awfully depressing if the result had been otherwise.

Perhaps the learned academic could turn his attention to some criminology research which is actually useful to society. He’ll be telling us next that victims of violent crime are likely to suffer pain.
