Bring back our bus route!
Owing to complaints from the residents of Norfolk Street, this bus service has now been cancelled and now goes on Windsor Street and up Windy Bank.
This has caused much hardship among passengers on the local bus. They cannot go to the post office for pensions etc, and to other shops in Skipton Road. The bus used to drop passengers off at the entrance to Norfolk Street.
Complaints by residents were usually because of heavy goods wagons going to Sainsbury’s. So I cannot see much harm in a small bus with pensioners going to the shops.
I would like to see this route re-opened if possible.
