Apply same logic to Standen site

I was fascinated to read Kevin Horkin’s views about housing development in the Ribble Valley.

“Large scale development”, “high levels of pollution”, “green lung”, “huge increase in traffic” all apply fourfold to the Standen Village so beloved of his Ribble Valley Borough Council.

Am I alone in wondering just what incentives have been offered to propose and keep proposing this desecration of our countryside for the obscene financial gain of one lucky landowner?
