An Ode to the Clarets’ promotion
Sean Dyche was more delighted than you will ever know,
As into the Premier Leaague Burnley FC do go.
BFC is a commodity so rare,
United with the town whose glory they share.
The biggest achievement of his football career,
Proud to have his wife and children there to cheer.
One of the thinnest squads in the entire division,
Their £120 million budget in the Premier division now prone to revision.
For Sean as a manager it must be an incredible feeling,
Still learning and developing not yet at his ceiling.
One game at a time mantra with his team he does share,
Automatic promotion with two games to spare!
We Burnley FC supporters are over the moon,
As in the Premier League we will be playing soon.
