Absurd wheelie bin fine
I was amazed to read about the young lady in Nelson who incurred a penalty of over £500 for leaving her wheelie bin on the pavement.
The solution for anyone wishing to do this is simple: leave the wheelie bin in a car, then park the car on the pavement. This is obviously more dangerous but no action will be taken to stop the practice.
