Total gridlock for Burnley’s motorists

Oh dear! Oh dear! As I sat in my car attempting to get to work recently, I reflected on the total incompetence and ineptitude that has surrounded the relatively simple plan to introduce traffic lights at the roundabout at the top of Westgate.

Three months behind schedule, the lights were finally switched on the other Wednesday.

After seven months of misery for motorists, we dared to believe the lights would transform our daily commute. How wrong we were.

That Thursday morning brought total gridlock to the west of Burnley. Those responsible need to be named and shamed.
