Burnley can deliver on major projects
When it comes to scepticism, Burnley residents can be right up there with the best of them. Over the years we have tended to adopt an attitude of “I will believe it when I see it and not before”.
Thankfully, Burnley is now getting a reputation of a town that is delivering change as new colleges, schools and health centres testify.
Now we are right on track to get our vital direct rail link to Manchester – a move that will not just get us to the bright lights of the city in double quick time, but will also open up our atttractions, affordable housing and countryside to city dwellers and workers in return.
It really is a win-win scenario and is further proof that Burnley can deliver.
