This morning (Thursday) Barrowford’s new Booths store was officially opened – and on Wednesday evening hundreds of people went there to have a look before the launch.

People were invited to preview their food, wine and grocery facilities and almost 500 went along. They were given drinks and samples of food available there, and had the opportunity to have a good look round the store.

There was also lots of entertainment in the massive cafe upstairs, featuring both the great Artisan Brass musicians and wonderful young singers from the village’s St Thomas’s CE Primary School.
