Nelson man charged over Facebook disorder bid
A MAN from Pendle is one of two from Lancashire who have been charged after posting messages encouraging disorder on Facebook.
Christopher Schofield (25) of Eckroyd Close, Nelson, and Warren Calvert (19) from Heysham, have been charged with intentionally encouraging or assisting in the commission of an either way offence believing it would be committed.
They have both been bailed. Schofield will appear before Pennine magistrates on Monday and Calvert will appear at Lancaster court on August 25th.
A third man, aged 21 from Blackpool, was also arrested on Wednesday night on suspicion of a similar offence.
