Nelson firm rewards staff with extra holidays

Staff working at Daisy Group’s Nelson office have received an early Christmas present with the news that their employer is substantially increasing their basic holiday entitlement.

Workers in the telecoms and IT business’ Nelson office used to receive a minimum entitlement of 20 days holiday per year. However this has now been increased to 25, an increase of 25 per cent.

The increased leave allowance is in addition to all bank holidays, and staff will also receive another day off work to celebrate their birthday. For every year they continue to work for the company they will receive another day of leave, up to a maximum of 30 days.
