Nelson and Colne College open day

The sixth form college in Scotland Road, Nelson, will open its doors from 6-30pm to 8-30pm.

The fourth highest performing college in the country for A-Level grades, the institution has a long-standing tradition of excellence.

Nationally recognised for excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, it has been judged “outstanding” by Ofsted since 2005.

The college’s vocational students also achieved the best grades in the local area.

Heavily subsidised bus passes for its students also exist, and there is now also a new direct bus service operating between the campus and Clitheroe serving students from the Ribble Valley.
