Missing Burnley teen found safe and well

Bethany Leigh McDonald (15) disappeared more than a week ago from the Coal Clough Lane area.

Fears had grown for the welfare of the teenager who also had links to Nelson and other parts of Lancashire.

But police reported that Bethany had been found at an address in Blackburn at 2am this morning and is now back at her home in Burnley.

Burnley and Padiham Police left a message on its Facebook which read: “Good news – a missing 15-year-old girl has been found safe and well and returned home.

“Thanks for all your support with our appeal to find her.”
