McDermott Homes employees conquer Yorkshire Three Peaks
A group of 10 employees from McDermott Homes have raised £3,500 in aid of Pendleside Hospice by conquering the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
All members from McDermott, which is based in Jupiter House on Altham Business Park, finished the challenging course on 11th June 2016, covering 24.5 miles with a 5600ft ascent as well as taxing descents of Pen y Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough.
The intrepid team was made up of Seamus McDermott, Catherine Davis, Richard Kay, Bev Kemp, Julie-Anne Mitchell, Jason Mitchell, Phillip Greaves, Linda Rusyn, Janet Matthews, and Chris Astley.
Bev Kemp, Sales Director at the company, said: “We had a great time and are so pleased with the money which was raised for such a worthy cause. Thank you to everyone who supported us”.
