Manhunt after alleged sexual assault

It occurred between 9-30 and 9-50pm yesterday (Friday) at two dams/Knotts Lane Pond.

Police are looking for a white male, over 6ft. tall and of slim build. He is in his late twenties with receding short dark hair. He was wearing light blue and white chequered shorts.

The man had two Staffordshire bull terriers with him, one white and one black, police said.

Witnesses are urged to come forward with any information to track this man. A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "I am appealing for witnesses or anybody who may have knowledge of a male matching the description of that who is involved in an incident that took place in Colne.
