Man missing after discharging himself from hospital


Habib Miah (24) had been receiving treatment at the Royal Blackburn Hospital when left the site on Sunday, February 7th at around 5-15pm.
He is believed to have caught a hospital shuttle bus to Burnley and has not been seen or heard from since.

Hide AdPC Jordan Bruce, of Burnley Police, said: “This is very out of character for Habib and we are becoming increasingly concerned as to his whereabouts.
“He has essentially discharged himself from hospital – possibly needing further treatment – and has not been seen since.
“We would urge anybody with information that could help us find him to get in touch.
“Similarly, we would also urge Habib, if he sees this appeal, to contact us to let us know he is safe.”

Hide AdHabib is of medium build, around 5ft 6ins tall, with cropped black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a grey t-shirt and black trainers.
