Man admits killing teen girl in death crash
Stuart Rudd was remanded in custody pending sentence for causing 19-year-old Isobelle Woodall’s death by dangerous driving in a head-on smash on Central Park Way, Wigan, last August.
The 39-year-old from Walkden Avenue East, Springfield, also appeared before a Liverpool Crown Court judge yesterday to plead guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving to Isobelle’s boyfriend Steven Inman and to driving with excess alcohol.

He was at the wheel of a white Ford Focus ST which ploughed into the black Peugeot 206 in which Isobelle and Steven were travelling in the opposite direction at 9.15pm on Sunday August 16.
Ms Woodall, from Welshpool in Wales, who it is believed was visiting relatives in Wigan, was pronounced dead at the scene and her 27-year-old boyfriend, who hails from Bury, suffered serious head injuries.
A passenger in the Focus, like Rudd, sustained a fractured pelvis.
