Make the most of the sunshine!

While we’ve been basking in sunshine and temperatures up to 20c over recent days, the Met Office has forecast that all that is going to change from this afternoon.

Rain and clouds are expected to head in to East Lancashire over the course of today, heralding a weekend of rain and dropping temperatures.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature expected is 12c and showers are forecast, while Sunday sees temperatures drop further to 8c and there’s more rain on the way. And it’s not looking better at the start of the next working week: Monday’s high is anticipated to be 8c and Tuesday 9c, with rain forecast on both days.
