M65 smash causes rush-hour delays
A CRASH caused severe traffic delays on the M65 on Wedensday evening.
The accident involved a blue Renault Clio and a green Peugeot 206 and happened on the westbound carriageway between junction 12 at Brierfield and junction 11 at Burnley.
The ambulance service attended the scene around 6 p.m. but police say there were only minor injuries.
The central reservation was damaged in the incident and traffic was diverted onto the hard shoulder.
