Lidl recalls cheese due to allergy risk


This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.
Lidl, which has stores in Burnley, nelson and Clitheroe, has issued the alert on its 100g packs of the cheese which have a use by date of June 8th 2015.

Hide AdThe Food Standards Agency has advised anyone who has bought the cheese and has a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, not to eat it and return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
Lidl has recalled the cheese from sale and is displaying notices in stores that sold the affected product.
