Liberata team streets ahead in race
A team from Liberata cleaned up at the Burnley 10K and raised £826 for Pendleside Hospice.
The company, a partner of Burnley Borough Council, had 10 members taking part including one woman who travelled from London and back in the same day.
Hospice fund-raising manager Mrs Kaye Bartle said: “This was an amazing effort from the Liberata team, particularly those that travelled to take part. It was also a very hot day so we are really grateful to everyone that took part in the extreme heat. The amount raised by Liberata will help us to provide much needed care and support to those in our community.”
