Romeo’s Daughter are set to take to the stage on Saturday, October 31st and Sunday, November 1st for two special back-to-back performances, providing a rare opportunity to witness one of the true treasures of British AOR in the perfect setting — a band whose songs have been recorded by legends, whose influence stretches across generations and whose best years may well still be unfolding.

After first emerging in the 1980s, Romeo’s Daughter began collaborating with Robert John "Mutt" Lange — the architect behind classic albums by Def Leppard, AC/DC, Bryan Adams and later Shania Twain — on the band's debut recordings after Lange was blown away by their songwriting. Lange’s involvement, alongside that of Grammy-winning songwriter John Parr, helped shape Romeo’s Daughter’s self-titled debut album.

From there, the rest was history as the aforementioned debut album exploded across the Atlantic. Their track ‘Don't Break My Heart’ became a Billboard Hot 100 hit. Their song ‘Wild Child’ was hand-picked and recorded by American rock superstars Heart for their multi-million-selling album Brigade, becoming one of the most recognisable songs associated with the band's catalogue. While ‘Heaven In The Back Seat’ attracted interest from across the globe after featuring in A Nightmare On Elm Street 5.

However, as the music industry evolved and grunge became mainstream, Romeo’s Daughter stepped away from the spotlight after releasing ‘Delectable’ in 1993.

Following an eighteen-year hiatus, the band reunited for what was initially expected to be a one-off appearance at Firefest Festival, but sparked what was a fruitful comeback for the band. A trio of albums in ‘Rapture’, ‘Spin’ and ‘Slipstream’ have since followed and Romeo’s Daughter have only enhanced their live reputation in that time. Head on down to Barnoldswick’s Music & Arts Centre to get a taste of Romeo’s Daughter in action. Tickets are available at https://www.barnoldswickmusicandartscentre.com/romeos-daugher-2026
