Jamie Holgate has opened up JH Grooming in Rainhall Road in Barnoldswick and hopes the business will become the destination for all things male grooming and barbering in one smart package.

Former Nelson and Colne College student Jamie and his team believe their razor sharp skill set and dedication for the profession will leave men feeling relaxed and looking at their best.

Jamie says he also believes in the personal touch which extends to advice on which grooming products are best for each individual and clients have the choice of a complementary beer or coffee while the team get to work.

Jamie said: “The inspiration for my brand started off with me cutting my mates hair at home with help from my mum.

“That then became a hobby, which grew into a passion, and my passion has made me want to push the boundaries of male grooming to a whole new level.

“If possible, I want to inspire others to do so too. I’m keeping humble in the fact that I don’t like to get ahead of myself, but my long term ambitions are to have salons all over the UK with education centres to showcase our skills nationally.”
