Jade opens hair salon in Sabden
A Sabden woman is aiming to be a cut above after taking over the village’s only hairdressing salon.
Jade Mitchell (22) who moved into the White Hart pub in the village last year with her parents, Gary and Maxine Bates, said it was too good an opportunity to miss.
She re-opened the village’s only hair salon, Hayley’s Hairdressers in Whalley Road, which had been closed for some time, and is now Jade’s salon.
“It’s very exciting but I’m looking forward to running my own salon and bringing a village facility back into use,” said Jade, who said she will do a special deal for pensioners on Tuesdays.
