Is hunt over for Tyson the Panda?

Tyson the Panda who went walkabout from Burnley Pantomime Society may be heading home.

The head of the giant Panda - a costume character who is due to take part in the Panto Society's production of "Aladdin" in January - was accidentally sold at a Christmas Fair at Brierfield Methodist Church where the panto case rehearse.

The sale threw the society into Panda-Monium as cast members appealed for Tyson's return.

Now a local woman hearing about the search says she bought Tyson for £1 at the fair "because she loves Pandas" but will return him to the Society as soon as possible.

Hopefully Tyson will soon be back where he belongs ready to tread the boards at Burnley Mechanics.
