Investigation launched into early morning house fire in Burnley

Crews from Burnley were called to reports of the fire involving a property on Devonshire Road.

On arrival they located the fire in one of the rooms of the house and extinguished it using two breathing apparatus, and one hose reel jet.

Crews remained at the scene for an hour and a half and an investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.

Fortunately there were no casualties reported.
