Hospice seeks Great North Run runners
Pendleside Hospice has had some cancellations for the Great North Run this year and is looking for runners who would like one of the hospice places.
There is no charge for the places – the hospice just asks each runner to pledge to raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship.
The race is on Sunday, September 7th in Newcastle and it is an amazing event, classed as “the world’s greatest half marathon”.
