Heavy rain dries up popular pub
Popular Ribble Valley eaterie the Aspinal Arms has been forced to call time early tonight due to the heavy rain.
The restaurant in Mitton, near Whalley, announced on its Facebook page that management took the decision to close early due to the heavy rain this evening.
Bosses said: "We can only offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause our lovely customers, Please be very careful on the roads this evening.
"We hope to be back open as normal in the morning. However we shall keep you posted."
