Hameldon girls scoop Young Enterprise title

A team of girls from Hameldon Community College have proved they are top of the class when it comes to business after they won a Young Enterprise competition.

The Year 10 team won first place for the “Best Business Plan” award for Young Enterprise schools in Lancashire after they produced a superb 10 page business plan for their company MY.

The team followed up this with another win – for “Best Product” at the Trafford Centre where they sold their “Bella Borsa” make-up bags.

Janine Nicholas, from Hameldon, said: “The awards were thoroughly deserved. The girls received the award at a Young Enterprise training session in Preston.

“Their bags include lip balm, hand sanitiser, nail file, hair accessories, comb and more.”
