An active member of the Conservative Party for more than 15 years and an experienced political campaigner, Richard has volunteered his experience abroad in countries including Montenegro, Bosnia, Serbia, Georgia and Moldova, helping new parties in the former dictatorships with their transition to democracy.

Richard said: “I am delighted to have been chosen unanimously by Preston Conservatives. The next General Election provides the clearest choice for the people of Preston. The city now needs a voice in Westminster it can rely on to secure greater local and sustainable economic growth and a better and brighter future for its people.”

Daniel Dewhurst, Chairman of Preston Conservative Association said: “It’s fantastic to see a local Lancastrian candidate standing up for the hard-working people of Preston.”
