Great North Run team help Pendleside Hospice

They took part in the half marathon, which is a total off 13.1 miles, last month in Newcastle.

Sammi Bracewell, fundraiser at Pendleside Hospice, said: “A huge well done and thankyou to all 21 runners who took part and raised such a wonderful amount.

“It was an amazing achievement and we are extremely grateful for each of the runners support.

“It was an incredibly hot day for this years wrun and there were over 50,000 other runners to dodge and weave in and out of.

“They should all be incredibly proud of their achievement.”
