Ribble Valley residents invited to free monster making workshop at Platform Gallery
Ribble Valley residents are invited to attend a free monster making workshop at the Platform Gallery in the lead-up to Halloween, where they can design and create their own unique clay monster.
Ribble Valley residents have been invited to attend a fun and imaginative workshop this October half-term in the lead-up to Halloween.

Potter Kath McDonald will be at the MIX Space at the Platform Gallery in the Ribble Valley for a monster making workshop. Participants will be invited to design and create their very own monster, with creative choices up to the participants, ensuring your design can have multiple eyes, be covered in spikes, full of fur or wielding spikes.
However, regardless of whether your creation is terrifying or adorable, participants will be able to leave the workshop having crafted a unique clay monster of their own design.
The drop-in workshop, which takes place on Wednesday, October 28th from 11:00am-15:00pm, is completely free to attend and attendees are not required to book in advance.
The event is perfect for imaginative minds and families looking for a creative day out in the Ribble Valley, while McDonald will be available throughout the session to offer assistance by demonstrating techniques and offering guidance on how you can bring your monster to life.
All children must be accompanied to the event by an adult and materials at the Platform Gallery are available to participants on a first-come, first-serve basis, and in the event of materials running out, the workshop could be closed earlier than advertised. If you wish to attend, head down to the Platform Gallery and make your free monster in time for Halloween.
