Former Indian restaurant and Forest Inn closes
A Fence hostelry has been put up for sale by its owner after its latest occupier ceased trading.
The former Forest Inn in Cuckstool Lane has been put on the market for £450,000 after the Babar Elephant Indian restaurant closed in July.
The ex-pub, which was Barocco’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar prior to Babar Elephant, is up for sale with Skipton chartered surveyors Westlake and Co.
A spokesman for Babar Elephant cited rent and a drainage issue for closing its Fence venture.
The company opened the Four Elephants restaurant in Skipton Road, Foulridge, in October last year.
