Five car smash on Burnley-Bacup road
Five cars were involved in a collision on the main road from Burnley to Bacup this morning (Thursday).
Police confirmed they were called to the accident at 7-55am on the A671 which had to be closed near to the Deerplay Inn.
A red Volkswagen Polo and a blue Renault Clio had to be recovered following the smash, but police said there were no serious injuries reported.
