The Burnley Connect service replaces the Starship following customer feedback on branding, routes and stops.

Passengers can now travel to the door of the retail outlet from Burnley and Nelson up to every hour during the day, seven days a week.

The smart new Burnley Connect vehicles feature low floor easy access, comfy seats and plenty of leg room for passengers, who can buy tickets on the bus or in advance through the lancashirebus mobile phone app.

Kirsten Jones, head of marketing at Boundary Mill, said: “The Burnley Connect service is fantastic news for our customers and 800 staff, giving them the option to use the brand new service and be dropped off and picked up at the door.”

“With new destinations like Boundary Mill in Colne as well as retail hotspots in Burnley such as Marks and Spencer, Next, B. and M. Homestore and the University Technical College we really are connecting Burnley with Burnley Connect!”
