Firefighters tackle kitchen blaze
Fire crews were called out to a house fire in Brierfield yesterday.
Three fire engines from Colne and Nelson attended the blaze, involving an oven in a semi-detached property in Mansfield Crescent, at 3-40pm
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
One person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by firefighters and paramedics.
