'Exceptional' employee given award at Burnley General Hospital

Senior Sister Victoria McLoughlin, described as ‘an exceptional role model’ by her co-workers, has been chosen as November’s Employee of the Month.
Victoria worked tirelessly to plan and successfully open Burnley General Hospital’s new elective centre in October, which has been a challenge due to the team having no matron in post and Victoria simultaneously having to run the surgical day unit, comprised of the ward and theatres.
