Cristian MJC, aka Matthew James Clarkson (20), from Mellor, is a former Clitheroe Royal Grammar School pupil who is studying biomedical science at University College, London.

Receiving a mixed reaction on his way into the infamous house, the self-confessed “ladies man” told Big Brother host Emma Willis: “I play tennis at county level and I go to one of the best universities in the world – number four to be exact. In terms of achievements, I’m pretty established and getting more established in music.

“If something happens and I don’t want to do music, I could just be a doctor or a surgeon.”

Speaking in an interview before he entered the house, Cristian explained his reasons for wanting to appear in the hit reality TV show: “I would love to go in because I think it will be a weird experience. When in your life are you ever going to get the opportunity to isolate yourself from the world and not have access to social media or a phone?”

Describing his biggest achievement in life so far being “how far he has come in music”, he also cited another of his biggest achievements as getting into UCL to study biomedical science and swimming, describing himself as a “national athlete”.
